Golden Yoga

Golden Yoga is a gentle blend of yoga and stretching that modifies traditional poses with the use of a chair. It is a safe approach to help you improve your spinal alignment, flexibility, strength and balance (physical, mental and spiritual). This class is appropriate for beginners of all ages.

Courageous Women in Scripture (continued)

We will continue to gather together to tell the stories of courageous women whose stories are found in the Hebrew Scriptures. What can we learn from them? We will hear the stories of Hannah, who longed for a child, or of Hagar who received God’s comfort and protection, or Sarah, who was victimized by another’s fear. We will listen to Ruth’s story of courage and dedication and to Sarah, the wife of Tobias.

A cornerstone for servant leadership is a regular reflective practice which enables self-awareness, creativity and integration. We will explore various methods of reflection and prayer and discover how a reflective practice can contribute to improved communication and decision-making. We also will introduce the personal mentor option as a support in developing the habit of regular reflection.

Spend a day exploring your jackal thoughts and core beliefs and how they can create barriers to inner and outer peace. Connect with your feelings as they relate to what is alive in you. Tap into your true inner needs like trust, empathy, forgiveness, love and experience their life-giving energy.

This weekend we will create spaciousness to reconnect with our true self. Through information presented, first-hand practice and dialogue, participants enter a path toward wholeness that invites them to pay attention to what is happening right now, right here. The path of “simply being” offers hope for living in, rather than reacting to, the world around us.
